Loss of Witney Houston

Watch the video

Whitney Houston, the superstar singer and actress who won a Guinness World Record for the most-awarded female act of all time, was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton in LA yesterday afternoon, on the eve of the 54th Grammy Awards, and just hours before the annual pre-Grammy gala where she launched her career more than two decades ago. Best known for “I Will Always Love You,” which became the best-selling single by a female artist in music history after its release in 1992, as well as all her other unstoppable chart-topping singles, and for her chaotic and well-documented personal life, including her tumultuous marriage to Bobby Brown and her struggles with drug use. It’s sappy and a terribly obvious play on words, but nonetheless, it must be said: Whitney Houston, we will always love you
